A collaborative exhibition between two artists, Josh Windram and Nigel Gaunt.
This exhibition by the painter and the photographer show two different perspectives of the Kimberley region in Western Australia.
Josh’s moody paintings highlight the detail of the coast, while Nigel’s photographs give an aerial abstract perspective showcasing natures texture, shape and form.

An interesting event to be a part of with loads of talented artists from all over Western Australia. I qualified as a Finalist for this event.

I feel blessed to have been invited to be a part of this fabulous event again. The proceeds of this year’s Art Extraordinaire helped fund the Teen Mental Health First Aid program to be delivered to students at Bunbury Catholic College. I received the People’s Choice Art Award again this year, which was very exciting!

Again, another fabulous year being part of the Margaret River Region Open Studios!

This was the first year Josh exhibited at The Vasse Art Award and he took out first prize! It was a huge surprise to him as there were so many talented artists and amazing pieces on show. He loved his experience participating in this fabulous local community event.
Judges comments:
“Overall this work spoke as a stand out piece for all the judges. Mastering execution of the medium in overall subject, framing, lighting and gradation, leading to the build up and tension in the work.”

27th December 2019 – 17th January 2020 | “Metamorphosis” Exhibition | JahRoc Galleries | Ingrid Windram and Josh Windram
This was my first duo exhibition and I was excited to have done it with my mother, Ingrid. “Metamorphosis” was an exhibition reflecting the massive changes that we had each encountered over the years. From a time where my life spiralled out of control through drug addiction, and mum’s daily struggle of feeling completely helpless, to our new life of health, happiness and positivity.

I was very blessed to be a part of this fabulous event! All funds raised from the event go towards purchasing equipment for the benefit of the College students. This exhibition showcased visual arts of many South West artists – both new and established. I received the People’s Choice Art Award this year, which was very exciting.

In April 2019 I opened my home studio to the public for the Margaret River Region Open Studios. I did this in collaboration with my mother, Ingrid. We had an amazing time and met some fantastic people during the exhibition. We were also selected as The Weekend West’s Yin and Yang for this event for 2019.
